Research Programs

SHINGETSU organises its research into programs — sustained lines of inquiry with distinct methodologies, questions, and project registries.

01

Efficient Intelligence Program

"How much general-purpose intelligence can be concentrated into the smallest practical computational budget?"

The Efficient Intelligence Program investigates methods for concentrating maximum general-purpose capability into minimal computational budgets. The program challenges scale-as-default assumptions and pursues reproducible compact-model methodology, intelligence density measurement, and deployment on accessible hardware.

Computational Continuity Program

"How can computational knowledge and digital artifacts remain understandable, verifiable, and usable across technological generations?"

The Computational Continuity Program addresses the degradation of software artifacts and computational knowledge over time. As technological generations turn, the executability, interpretability, and verifiability of historical systems erodes. This program develops frameworks and tools to arrest that erosion.
